I am a Psychodynamic Counsellor and have experience working with a variety of presenting difficulties. I am qualified to Masters level and have worked within schools, EAP organisations and in private practice.
About me and my practice
Psychodynamic therapy is generally a longer term form of therapy and so a client should expected to commit at least 8 weeks to the process.
Sessions will take place once or twice a week and will be 50 minutes in length.
The process is unique and individual and can certainly be challenging at times. But there will be an experience gained from this work, an experience which looks to bring hope and movement to the individual.
I aim to create a space where a client can feel able to express, experience and explore their current situation and the feelings they might be facing. Through our work together I hope the client will gain insight and understanding and be able to move forwards, engaging in life in a manner that is preferred to what was before.
